The Client’s-Eye Check

Can potential clients find you when they need your help?

See what people searching for the problems you treat are likely to find across Google search, Google Maps and AI assistants, and where you may be missing opportunities.

It is a snapshot, not a score, and it is honest. If you’re already visible, the report says so and tells you not to spend money.

Leave blank if you don’t have one yet.

Two or three is enough. Say “online” if you only work by video. In the US, add the states you’re licensed in.

The country you see clients in or work from.

I read every request myself. I use your details to send your report and follow up about it. I don’t share them, and you only get the newsletter if you tick the box. Privacy policy.

Or email ernest@ernestmcleod.com.au with your practice name and towns.

What a Report Looks Like

Your clients aren’t searching for your name. They’re searching for help with their problem. Can they find you?

The check looks in the three places they look: Google search, Google Maps and the AI assistants. Behind it is the local search research: the searches near you worth answering, with Google’s average monthly searches for your area over the past 12 months. Three pages, your practice, real figures.

Sample report page one: where the practice appeared by place and channel Sample report page two: the market beyond its name Sample report page three: where we’d start
A real report from September 2026, name removed. Page one: where the practice appeared by place and channel on the date stated. Page two: the market beyond its name. Page three: where we’d start.

How the check is made: I look at Google search, Google Maps and the AI assistants through DataForSEO, from set points across your area, on one day, and the report states that date. Search figures are Google’s average monthly searches for your area over the past 12 months, with their source and the date I retrieved them. Results vary by device and location, and AI answers can change between searches. The report names the three things I’d fix first, whether or not you ever hire me.

Who the Check Is For

Hypnotherapists, counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists and allied practitioners in private practice, in Australia, the US and the UK, in person or online. It isn’t for clinics with an in-house marketer, anyone wanting ads managed, or anyone wanting a guarantee. Plenty of people take the quick wins and fix them themselves. That is a feature.

What Happens Next

Questions

What is the free Client’s-Eye Check?

A free three-page report that answers one question: can people searching for the problems you treat find you? It shows where your practice appeared in Google search, on Google Maps and in the AI assistants on the date stated, the local searches near you worth answering, and the three things I’d fix first. Back within two working days.

Which service do I need?

If you’re not in the map’s top three for your main problems, start with the profile. If your site ranks only for your name, add pages. If the site is slow, locked to a builder or can’t take pages, rebuild. The check tells you which, and the prices are on the Get Found page.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no charge, and you decide what happens next. If you’re already visible, the report says so and tells you not to spend money. If it finds something worth doing, the prices are on the Get Found page and you reply to the report to start. You only get the newsletter if you tick the box.
